S&P Dow Jones listed three cryptocurrency indices

S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC welcomes digital assets. The S&P Digital Market Indices was launched on May 4 to measure the performance of cryptocurrency. These new indices includes:

S&P Bitcoin Index , S&P Ethereum Index , S&P Cryptocurrency MegaCap Index

“As cryptocurrency becomes more mainstream , investors now access to reliable and transparent benchmarks backed by institutional quality pricing data” said Peter Roffman , Global Head of Innovation and Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices.

S&P Dow Jones cooperated with Lukka , a crypto software and data company to administer the indices. After the first S&P Dow Jones’ custom cryptocurrency index launched in 2020, S&P Dow Jones Jones LLC is expanding the new family of Digital Market Indices.
